838-PEB

The 838-PEB main board is a replacement for the current Texas Instruments Peripheral Expansion Box.  This board has been designed to fit into a standard PC case, such as ATX or MiniATX.  The mounting holes for the case directly line up with the mounting holes on the 838-PEB main board.

Current features:
  • Mounts directly in ATX style PC case
  • Use of standard ATX style power supply
  • 8x Expansion Card slots
  • Internal and External USB power connectors to power items like a TiPi
  • Internal connectors for front USB connections for power
  • 2 x connections for internal Gotek units with displays
  • 4x 12v PC fan connectors
  • Additional power and ground headers
  • 2x RJ45 jacks for use for external Gotek display like a 16x2 or 20x4, etc.
  • Can be used with TI-99/4A or Geneve 9640 (Geneve 9640 breakout board sold separately)

Please note that the standard PC power supply requires a momentary switch and typically a PC motherboard has a circuit to keep the pulse going to keep power engaged.  A small momentary circuit is required and sold separately that mounts directly to the 838-PEB Board to accomplish this.  If not purchased you will have to replace the power switch on your chose case to be latching.

You will also need to replace the TI Flex cable interface with the 838-IO Plus ATX version and have the 3D printed card cage printed, which is shown in blue below.
